MASTER CLASSES ARE 1½ HOURS, MON-FRI AT 7PM
Here’s your chance to dramatically improve your cello performance through a combination of private cello intensives and master classes with famed cellist, Arthur Cook. During the first week, you’ll work one-on-one with Arthur to fine-tune your cello technique and learn new skills in two (or more!) private lessons. During the second week, you’ll join other student-cellists in an intimate “master class” setting to explore and perform a wide range of music written for the cello. Additional private lessons may be added during both weeks. (8 years - adult, with a minimum of one year of private study on cello.)
TWO-WEEK CELLO WORKSHOPS: $299; ADDITIONAL ONE-HOUR LESSONS: $87 EACH
*Private lessons will be scheduled to accommodate both student and instructor.

*During the week of 7/5/10, workshops will be held Tuesday-Friday to accommodate the July 4th weekend.
4PM: EXPLORING PERCUSSION
If you loved Stomp and Blue Man Group, see yourself as the cool drummer in a band, or just plain enjoy tapping out rhythms, Laura Jordan’s Exploring Percussion workshop is a great way to find out if playing percussion is right for you! (8 years - adult, beginners only)
5PM: INTRO TO WORLD PERCUSSION
If you’d like to get together with other student-musicians to have fun with a groove, Intro to World Percussion is your chance to explore the rhythmical concepts of World Music using hand drums, claves, shakers, congas and more! In
addition to non-western drumming styles and techniques, Laura Jordan’s innovative workshop explores a wide-ranging repertoire from African and Middle-Eastern rhythms to Latin Salsa and Brazilian Sambas. (8 years - adult, with a minimum of one year of private instrument study)
