Lisa Giannone, Ballet, Early Childhood Dance
Conservatory of Performing Arts - Point Park University. Received early training in ballet at several schools in the North Jersey area, including Irine Fokine in Ridgewood NJ. Trained at the American Ballet Theater school with such teachers as Patricia Wilde and Madame Perejslavic, and studied under Nicholas Petrov at Point Park College. Performed and taught ballet to children, teens and adults for Kozlov Ballet International and several local dance schools throughout NJ, and taught Early Childhood pre-ballet for the YWCA of Ridgewood. In addition to choreographing many original pieces, has staged a full production of Nutcracker for her students. Performed major roles in many classical ballets, including Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, Giselle, Coppelia and Cinderella, as well as numerous originally choreographed works.
