MINI-MUSIC at The Ridgewood Conservatory is the perfect program to start your child’s musical education. Offered as a six-week session during the summer, Miss Joni’s Mini-Music program provides a gentle, joyful experience structured to meet the unique developmental needs of our youngest musicians.
Family Music for Babies incorporates songs, games, dancing, moving and singing into a non-stressful, non-judgmental musical playtime. The emphasis is on relaxing, growing and enjoying music with your baby, without any social or behavioral expectations. (Newborns - 18 mos)

Family Music for Toddlers stresses the rote imitation of tonal and rhythmic patterns and develops creativity through singing, moving, listening and playing simple instruments. Participa-tion in fun-filled activities strengthens your musical bond with your toddler. (16 mos - 3 yrs)

Cycle of Seasons teaches rhythmic and tonal patterning through singing, dancing, focused listening and exploring musical instruments, and self-expression through movement and storytelling. Your child’s imagination will soar as he or she explores the music of summer. (3-5 years)

Music Makers builds symbolic thinking, concentration and musical language. This pre-instrument class includes singing, solfege, creative and structured movement, playing instruments, ear training and guided listening to develop initial music literacy. (4-6 years*)
